Frenzi Seafood Festival 2025
A young and fresh fishy brand identity

Inside the Festival
What is Frenzi?
Frenzi Seafood Festival 2025, a celebration where seafood lovers indulge in hand-crafted dishes in Fremont, Seattle. Frenzi is dedicated to ethically sourcing seafood and caring for our oceans—proceeds go to The Ocean Clean Up.
Play & Purpose
About the Project
For the Frenzi design, I aimed to capture the fun and playfulness of a festival—where you dive in, get your hands dirty, and enjoy the experience. At the same time, I wanted to ensure the design reflected philanthropic and sustainable values, staying true to the core mission of protecting the ocean and supporting the community.

The Palette
Colors, Texture, & Type
Frenzi’s brand captures the essence of its young, bold, and caring audience. With nostalgic, bright colors and hand-drawn illustrations, the brand invites its community to see themselves reflected in its quirky, fun, and fresh vibe. The colors were inspired by 2000s kids’ TV channels, and the color-pencil textures are reminiscent of the more playful days.

Fest Friends
Character Illustration
It was important for me that each character in the ‘Frenzi Pod’ was drawn with the festival’s core demographic in mind—artistic, environmentally-conscious food lovers who support local businesses. Bold and community-driven, each character has its own colors and patterns, which are repeated throughout the project to guide you through the festival as if they were your own frenz!

Harry & Eink
The artsiest love-fish around, making waves with their colorful style and crafts at community fairs.

Prawny Hawk
A local skate legend, always snacking between tricks. He keeps the park as clean as his kickflips.

Nagi Star
Voted “Friendliest Eel,” Nagi slips around awareness about ocean care while tending to her reef.
