Things Your Chunky Dragon Needs is a quick video essay on how to care for your pet dragon. As a kid, dragons were my favorite "animal"—I wished they were real and was captivated by every piece of media featuring them. With this motion graphic, I wanted to capture that same magic and wonder, bringing my childhood sketches and characters to life.

Colors & Style
Inspired by classic children's book illustrations, I leaned into warm, soft colors to evoke the cozy feeling of reading by the fire. To enhance the storybook aesthetic, I incorporated a paper texture and hand-drawn illustrations, giving the animation a nostalgic, handcrafted charm.
